To add a new student, select My Account under your picture, or initial, on the top menu bar. Select "Student" under the Create New Users title.
Select the link on the advisor homepage
From the Advisor Shortcuts, select the Add a New Student link. Note: this process can be used to add a student or a prospect.
When creating the student, select the Create and Go To Profile button to go directly to the new student's profile. Update the student or prospect profile with the information that you have available.
Save on the student's profile returns you to the shortcuts where you can click Show More on the Work with my Student(s) box and then select Manage Student Profile.
Add the Student's parent or connection
Close the student's profile and open the Student's Family accordion. Then click on Create new family member.
Input the email, first name and last name.
Choose the role of the connection
For Role, leave Supporter if the connection will have read-only permission. If you want the new connection to be able to update the student's record, then change the Role to Contributor.
Select the correct Relationship and then Create and Exit.
