What is an active student?
Active students are those that have access to the GuidedPath key features of Surveys, Tests, Colleges, Applications and Decisions. Each student is active for a minimum of 30 days.
Active students are current clients that can log into GuidedPath, and the only students that can log in. When advisors are finished working with a client they will archive their record so they have access to their information for historical purposes.
What is an archived student?
An archived student is one you have worked with in the past. Advisors can view, but not modify data on archived students for the main parts of the College Process (Surveys, Tests, College Lists, Planning and Progress, and Decisions). Advisors will, however, still be able to update basic contact information for these records, continue to use the messaging feature, invoicing, and calendar (for appointments and assignments), as well as advisor notes.
Archived students cannot log into GuidedPath.
Archived students are always free of charge, as long as the student was active for at least 30 days.

Can I unarchive or reactivate a student?
Once a student has been archived, you must contact email@example.com to reactivate the student. In general, advisors should keep students active until they are completely done working with them before archiving the student.
What is a prospect?
Prospects are students who advisors want to keep basic information on while they are still discussing their services. Advisors can send messages, make appointments or assignments and keep profile information on Prospects. Prospects can be active or archived. Active prospects are those that advisors are currently still marketing to and archived prospects are those that are no longer valid prospects. Prospects cannot log into GuidedPath.
Prospects are always free of charge.
